Your vision is level 2 of your Tower or Productivity… and is the reason why you’re here on planet earth!
It’s the reason you do everything you do and it’s WHY you do what you do.
Once you’ve worked out your ULTIMATE vision, everything else you do will align with fulfilling your purpose.
Then by working down your Tower of Productivity, you’ll be able to make sure that the tasks you do on a daily basis all tie in with your purpose.

In order to succeed with your business, you’ll need a STRONG enough vision and a strong enough WHY to drive you to action every single day.
Without a strong enough reason, you will fail… and even worse, you won’t be able to live a balanced lifestyle because you’ll be trying to do too many things which all take you off in a different direction!
So, WHY Are You on This Planet?
What is the reason you were put here?
Your vision is your driving force which propels you forward… it’s the WHY part of your Tower of Productivity… without it, you’d be like an airplane without a GPS system.
When you get CLEAR on your vision, you’ll jump out of bed in the morning knowing EXACTLY what you need to do and exactly WHY you’re doing what you do.
Take a look at Donald Trump, Sir Richard Branson, Tony Robbins, Warren Buffet.
They are true givers aren’t they?
The reason they’re here is to give MASSIVE value to others. Earn a lot of money and then give it back to make a difference!
They are DRIVEN by their purpose and vision and that’s what I want for you…
How Do You Connect To It?
Each day (as part of your morning routine), you’ll want to connect to your ultimate vision as a person using all your senses. Sit there quietly before you start work and visualize how you want your life to be… and why you are doing what you are doing.
Go into great detail…
If your life was PERFECT, how would it look, what would you be doing and why would you be doing it? See it in your minds eye… get excited by it and before long you’ll be living your vision.
It gives you a goal, a destination and a direction in life.
When people try to take you away from what you’re doing and try to tempt you with a shiny new object… you can stand FIRM and say NO! Because you know EXACTLY why you are doing what you do and nothing anyone says can take you away from it.

The wise writer of Proverbs wrote, “Where there is no vision the people perish.” Gavin you have shared a key message in this statement, “Once you’ve worked out your ULTIMATE vision, everything else you do will align with fulfilling your purpose.” Answering the question “WHY Are You on This Planet?” has helped me to focus on how I am to be of service. I think when you settle on a path and put your whole being into it (your dreams, plans, and goals), you are the only one that can make it or break it. I remember a little over a decade ago when I started blogging and was discovering a lot about myself. I thought I wanted to be an English major in college and poured myself into that. But… I found it was not my passion. I began my site already teaching things I had learned in web design because many of the tutorials then were pretty hard to understand for the everyday person.
I found that my vision was to help people while also doing what I loved to do- web design and development.

The purpose for what I do is most important. Without the overall reason why I’m doing what I do, I might as well not do it! And it does steer us away from saying “yes” to everything that comes down the track. My purpose / vision is to see people become free of bitterness, fear, anger, etc., and to help them develop a close intimacy with God.

Yes everyone has their certain vision, Yes everyone should figure their own vision out. Without a strong mind set you really can't get anywhere in life, and that's were people like us come in and try to help those with no vision out as far as getting them where they want to go in their life time instead of us watching them crumble, thanks for the inspiring words Gavin.

Love the Video! I am a bit like Barbara at the moment. To be honest I am fed up with all the different things I go to about Goal Setting and see it as a chore which I know I shouldn't. I tend to focus on the negative… make enough money for the monthly bills, get free of debt etc. I enjoy your challenges and working through the content and finding my True Purpose

Vision, goals, plans, so important, we all know yet, often, they get left….
No time….
No need…
When I have some success, some spare time… I will do them then….
It’s chicken and egg…
We can’t see how they help, but successful people say you can’t be successful without them….
Maybe we do no .believe them.. Maybe it seems too simple….
Maybe we do not see how they work, truly work….
So another five minutes on facebook, instead of reading a book….
Another 15 minutes reading someone else’s work, instead of doing our writing….
Another info product, looking for the secret, the key all the successful people know, but aren’t saying, instead of writing our own info product….
Indeed, it is too easy to see why having goals, a vision, can bring all of this…
However, look at The Japanese after WW2.
A vision to be biggest in textiles in a decade, did it.
A vision to be biggest in steel in a decade, did it…
Do I need to mention cars, ships, electronics and everything else they have done since the country started to set goals, to have a vision?

True, true… focus on what you can do right now.
I agree / disagree with a couple of things… see if you just get your head down and work like crazy to make some money, then you might find yourself in the wrong place in the future and wish that you’ll thought more about it first.
Also with planning, it can help you get there much faster because you know your target market, direction, goals and can match up your message to the market. Great feedback!

Hi Gavin, you are not disagreeing at all, that is kinda what I meant.
I mean we do not do it when we should, can’t see the point, then later fail to see that is why we are where we are.
We see so many people start in our business, and when we talk about plans, goals etc they just say, think we will see how it goes… And we all know how that goes!
