Facebook allows you to add comments to most of it’s features. You are able to comment on other people’s profiles, walls, photos, videos, status updates etc

Watch this video of me explaining the best practices for posting on people’s wall.

As you browse the Facebook interface, you’ll notice that not many people actually do this… which means that your comment will stand out and will be visible to everyone who views the photo or watches the video.

A great strategy that Roosevelt Cooper talks about in this video is to comment on the big network marketing guru’s videos, status updates, photo’s and blog posts etc.

Make sure you add something of value… don’t just write a quick silly comment as it will do more harm than good. But if you can write something of value and take part in the discussion, you’ll find that hundreds if not thousands of that person’s fans will see your comment and some of them will either click through to your profile or will add you as a friend.

One of the biggest NO NO’s is leaving your link on someone elses wall. I know a lot of people find this very rude. It’s SPAM and you shouldn’t do it. The main aim of marketing on Facebook is to attract people to your personal profile.

Imagine how you would feel if one of your ‘friends’ came along and started promoting and advertising something on your wall. They may leave a link to a website on your wall. I don’t like it when someone does this and usually, I just remove that person from my friends if they are not my ‘real’ friend, or I mark their comment as spam, or just delete the post.

Once you’ve managed to get someone to click through to your profile, you have links to your blog, business opportunity or lead capture page so the other person can check out more information about you if they want to.

Remember that your wall posts are visible to everyone who sees your feed, so make sure you write things of value and educate people as much as possible.
