FB1901 – How To Join A Facebook Group

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to find and join a group in Facebook. Make sure you are on the home page, scroll over to the search bar, type in groups and click on the drop down box that says groups.

You will then be taken through to a list of all groups on Facebook. Search for network marketing related groups which will then take you to a page that is full of network marketing related groups.

Ideally it's good to join a group with a lot of members but sometimes it can be good to join a group with a smaller amount of members in because it's a closer knit community and is easier to build up relationships with people.

Click on the join group button and confirm that you want to join that group.

You will then be taken through to the home page of that group where you can view the discussion board, invite other people to join, leave the group, see the members, upload videos etc.

Joining groups is a great way to make new friends related to network marketing. You can see me doing this in the making friends with like minded individuals tutorial.

You can find people, make friends with them, send them a quick message to say that you are a member of the network marketing group and that you want to make friends and learn from them etc and build a great relationship with that person.

You also have the discussion board where you can reply to other threads and take part in the discussions, and you can see the wall where most people write about their business opportunity.

There is a right way and a wrong way to use the Facebook Wall. Don't just add a link to your website as this is spamming on walls. In order to get the most out of Facebook, you need to be offering true value to other people.
