Why did I call this post, twittertastic laundry list for network marketers? Well, I wanted to get your attention so I could expose you to this fantastic list of twitter resources I either use now or have used in the past to build my attraction marketing and network marketing profile and personal brand.

I've been using social network marketing for a while and have a pretty good system in place. I'm slowly increasing my friends and visibility on each of the networks. It's taken me a pretty long time to bring all these resources to you, so please feel free to share this post with your groupies as it's got some fantastic resources in.

If you really dig deep and start to learn how to use twitter to build your network marketing business and keep in touch with your downline, you will start to find ways you'd never thought of.

I found this one a couple of days ago when one of my friends started using it. Before then I'd been using http://tinyurl.com There is a service called twitpwr – which makes your long url's short so you can squeeze them into your tweets.

If you're using Twitter and 'microblogging' for your network marketing activities and to build up your brand, you can use twirl to update your Twitter status from your desktop. You can also update your pownce and jaiku services with the click of one button. You can also cross post images to twitpic, where you can share your images.

If you've ever wanted to check to see if the people you are following on twitter are following you back, you can do so by visiting twitterkarma.

I've found a few services which do this next little trick, but this one is the BEST in my opinion. If you are a social networking network marketer and attraction marketer and have accounts between 10-30 of the social networks, then ping.fm is the service for you. You can update your status, send mini blog posts to wordpress, upload videos and photo's and a whole lot more to all the top social networking sites, including facebook, wordpress, Myspace, Tumblr, Blogger, LiveJournal and the list just goes on and on.

But Why Would I want To Do That?

Ok, initially you set up your social networking accounts, and microblogging accounts and make friends on the various networks. The more activity these 'friends' see from you, the more of a rapport you have with them. If you upload a photo, a video, make a twitter style update, post a blog post or similar, they may come over to your profile, click on the link to your website, or get in contact with you.

Social network marketing is all about making friends and putting your message out there to the masses. The more places you can be seen, the bigger and more influence your personal brand has.

Twitter Tutorials – I wrote and recorded videos a while back with different aspects of network marketing on Twitter.

Another great little tool is SocialOomph, if you want to schedule your tweets and updates to twitter. You can also auto-follow people who follow you and search the twitter-sphere for conversations to do with your industry!

Whilst on my twitter learning travels, I found a great little post about a service where you can rate twitter conversations. Again, might be pointless, but you also may find a golden nugget of information which you can use to your advantage. http://www.earnblogger.com/dwigger-digg-like-conversation-tool-for-twitter-tweets/

If you're not sure who to follow on twitter, simple enter your username in whoshouldifollow and you'll be presented with people in your industry to follow. (As long as you're already following other people in your industry).

Twerpscan will check the number of followers of everyone on your contact list, the number of people they are following, and the ratio between those. If the person is following more than (n) people (can be customised), and has a followers-to-following ratio higher than 1:(m) (can be customised), you'll be notified by a link.

Monetize your twitter page by using twittad, in my opinion twitter should remain non commercial. Use it to build up your visibility and personal brand rather than trying to make money from your followers. This is just WRONG in my opinion, but I'm sure it has it's uses.

This post talks about TwitterKeys and how you can use little icons in your twitter posts to spice them up.

Tweetmeme – Watches what is going on within twitter and picks up anyone posting links to content. It then tracks how many other mentions of the same content are made (and how influential they are.) and presents them in a simple format.

And because the content that is posted on twitter is of a very wide content it also broadly categorizes it, these are broken down into blogs / video / images / audio.

MyTweeple – These tools are designed to help you make informed decisions when it comes to following people on Twitter.

TweetBar – Tweetbar puts your tweets into email, websites and forum signatures

Tweeterized – Provide dynamic Twitter signature images that you can use on forums, websites, myspace profiles and more. The dynamic images display your profile image, last update as well as how long ago you did the update. We also have various backgrounds to choos

TwitterFriends – Find out the hidden network of Twitter contacts that are really relevant for you.

TheMattinator – Multiple account twitter tweeting. Matt makes it easy to post to multiple Twitter accounts without having to log into each one every time.

Here are a few more links to twitter related services. I'm getting a little bored of this post now, so I'm not going to describe the last few services. You'll just have to click on the link to find out more…. he he he…

http://twitterfeed.com/

The thing I don't like is that instead of sending people to my main twitter page http://twitter.com/gavin_m – I have to send people to this page http://bbltwt.com/e22z2 for them to see the video.

Don't get me wrong, the service is an excellent idea but I'd have preferred it if there was a way to actually embed it into my main Twitter page rather than sending people to another url.

They also have a service where you can add video bubbles to your website and to the comments section on your webpage.

I'm definitely going to experiment with this a little more in the future.

You can also add your Twitter feed to your blog, so everytime you update your Twitter, it auto updates on your blog. I use wordpress as my blogging platform and also use the Semiologic themes and plugins, but you can integrate twitter with a blogger blog, typepad blog, squarespace blog or any other type of blog you may desire.

My tutorial video below will show you how to integrate your Twitter feed with your Wordpress blog, although you can use the same principle if you a running your blog on a different platform.

In this video, I also talk alot about the importance of creating your attraction marketing profiles on other various web 2.0 sites to increase your visibility to others.

Click here to view the embedded video.

The more you can increase your visibility, the more people will start to take notice of you. It will take a while for you to learn the various technologies and add the content to your websites, but overtime, if you continue to learn as much as you can and take action on what you learn then you will be successful!

I'm putting together a course on Twitter which is open to everyone who visits my blog.

Twitter is an excellent way to keep people upto date with what you are up to, and what you are doing between your emails and blog posts.

You can find links to each of my Twitter tutorials below. Take your time to learn about Twitter because although it's fairly popular now, it will become much much more popular over time! If you learn it now, you will benefit from it long term.

TW001 – Twitter Overview
TW002 – What is Twitter?
TW003 – How to open a new Twitter account
TW010 – Twitter add ons

Over time, I'll add more tutorials to this course, and if there is any aspect of Twitter which I don't cover here, please drop me an email and I will be more than happy to write a tutorial explaining a specific section.

My goal for this course is to give you a thorough understanding of Twitter and it's many uses in Network Marketing and Internet Marketing.

By integrating Twitter with your blog, myspace, facebook, squidoo and other web 2.0 profiles you may have, you are increasing your visibility on the web. People may see you update your Twitter feed and may not take much notice, but if they then see a video of you, and a blog post from you in the future, they will remember you and next time they see a Tweet from you, they will take more notice of you.

Network Marketing online is all about increasing your visibility and being consistent with your message. Create new pieces of content every day, continue to learn and educate others and you will find people flocking to you!
