The 3 Step Process Of Attraction Marketing
I want to talk to you about how to set up your system, generate leads, sell ebooks, and build your business.
Create a Network of Mini Hubs (Phase 1 – Expose)
Initially, you create a network of mini hubs and then link them all together to create an interconnected web of content and websites. The type of hubs you need are:
- Blog – This will host your written content, talking about you as a person, your experiences, ideas, thoughts, diary and tutorials.
- Youtube Channel – This is where your videos will be. You can then pull your videos from youtube into your blog and you will also benefit from people finding your video's through youtube's own traffic.
- Facebook Profile - You can meet other network marketers, make friends with them, learn from them, share your content, share your thoughts and ideas and generally network with other like minded individuals.
- Squidoo Lense – Squidoo lenses rank very high in the search engines for specific keywords, so by building a network of Squidoo's, you will start to generate leads through search engine traffic.
- Hubpages – Hubpages is similar to Squidoo and it ranks highly in the search engines.
- Myspace Page – Set up a Myspace account, or several Myspace accounts and use automated software to make friends, post comments, bulletins etc. You can also add your youtube videos to your Myspace account to create an even more compelling profile.
- Twitter – You can follow other people and others can follow you to see what you are doing in your various marketing activities. Interact with others and make new friends. Twitter is a great place to build a list of people who are interested in your content.
Once you have your web of content in place, you can start driving traffic from one site to the next. People love to surf the web and go from one piece of content to another. Knowing this, your ultimate aim or goal should be to either capture the visitors name and email address or to add them as a friend to one of your social networking profiles such as Youtube, Myspace, Twitter or Facebook.
(Check out how I do this on this blog. I've got my capture box under my blog posts, and my social network profiles down the right hand side of the page)
If you are able to do this, you'll be able to keep in touch and in contact with that person for a long time to come and you will be able to expose that person to every new piece of content you produce.
This is a great way to build relationships with other network marketers and MLM'ers.
Sell Low Cost Front End Informational Products (Phase 2 – Involve)
Once you've got people coming into your network of content and you can direct that traffic to different sites and build relationships with them, you can syndicate the content across your network, and can start to sell information products to those visitors.
Most network marketers are starving for information. They want to know how to build their business, how to make money online, how to become effective on the phone, how to set up Internet Marketing, how to start their attraction marketing campaign and lots more. If you are able to provide a solution to those people in the form of information products and tuition then you'll make a lot of money whilst you're building up your relationship with them.
I've talked a lot about the Funded Proposal System in a few of my other posts, so if you're unsure as to exactly how it works, go and read the above article.
If you've managed to capture the visitors name and email address in an autoresponder then you can send automatic follow up emails to them to build your relationship up with them further and help educate them.
Each time you send out an email, produce a new piece of content, a new video, make a new Twitter post etc, you remind your visitors and prospects about you. Your aim is to help them become aware of you, and keep reminding them who you are and what you do. People like to be able to trust someone and know they can rely upon you, and if they see that you are constantly putting out content and videos etc to help others then they will know they can depend on you.
Encourage User Interaction
You should always make sure you have comments turned on on all your social networking profiles and encourage user interaction as much as possible. The more activity you can produce with comments and feedback, the more popular you will become.
When you see video's and blogs with lots of comments, it looks much better than ones with zero comments and people are much more likely to comment on a video or blog post with lots of comments.
In order to encourage this, you'll need to make friends with other network marketers and comment on other peoples blogs and videos before they will comment on yours. This is just the way of the world and you usually need to take the first step. Once you've commented on someone elses video, they'll usually come back to your profile and will post a comment.
Sign The Person Up Into Your Primary Business (Phase 3 – Upgrade)
If you're involved in network marketing then you need to be recruiting people into your business. If you've done the first two steps correctly, you should have an automatic flow of leads and prospects coming into your business and be actively building relationships with those people.
After a while, you'll find people start coming to you to ask what business and company you are involved with. They'll be so impressed with the system you've set up that they'll want to learn all about it and will need help in setting up their own attraction marketing system.
Do not force or manipulate people into joining you network marketing group, it will only backfire on you in the future. Just allow them to come to you, and to ask you about your business. If you explain that if they join you, you'll be able to help them achieve their goals and dreams and live the life they want to live, then they will most likely sign up into your business.
Just make sure you can actually help them. Don't tell lies to them. If you can't help them personally because you are new in the business also, then promote your upline and talk about the trainings, support and help you get from your fantastic upline.

Hi Gavin,
once again a very informative article! I like the way you describe the three steps of Attraction marketing.
Good point about not forcing or manipulating people into your business and being honest. I used to think I had to do that and therefore I am not cut out for business. Attracting people is what it is all about.
I had to click on the heading of your article to open it up to find the comment box, thought I let you know.
Cheers,
Yorinda

Gavin,
I like the great list you compiled here of social media and your hub. My biggest yeah here is about comments. If your blog looks like a ghost town without any comments, that's going to be a huge mark against you. Interaction on your site lets others know you care about them.
The counters don't mean anything to non-bloggers.

Thanks Val, yes interaction is so important on blogs. Comments are very powerful and helps with your authority. If you have more comments on your blog, people will want to read more as it's the social proof thing… No comments ='s no readers and no one wants to go to a blog with no readers. It feels very cold and lonely
@Yorinda, Thanks for the feedback about the comments. If you take a look at the top right of the page, there is a little comment button which if you press it, it should bring up the comments. I guess you landed on my home page so in order to get the comments, you would need to click on the heading/url.
Thanks again,
Gavin

Hey Gavin.
This is the true way to network market. You just gave away the secret to success in this industry and I have to commend you on that. How do I know. I'm applying the same method that you taught here in this blog and I see the exact results that you just mentioned. It takes dedication and consistency in an effective routine like this the first year, but anyone can do it. It doesn't take much time each day either.
Take Care

Gavin,
Thanks for a great post. I'm still a little stuck at Stage 2, but will be sure to read your posts on "funded proposal system" and see what I can learn.
Thanks again,

Gavin,
Enjoyed your post.
I like how you were able to break down the different types of
hubs. These are very important and everyone should consider
creating accounts for all of these especially starting a blog.
There has been many times that my material has floated around
the internet and then someone visits my blog saying they got there
because of the link from an article to my blog.
Thanks for posting this great content.
Have a great day!

Hi Tommy,
Yes, breaking it down into the several stages is very important as people can grasp smaller chunks. It all flows and makes sense also. Expose, Involve and Upgrade…

I appreciate how you broke this down in to 3 stages. Very thorough information and steps that anyone can follow. Yes it takes work and initiative, but as you said, if you properly set up your profiles to gain maximum exposure and then go about connecting and building relationships, you will definitely attract the right people to your business!
Thanks again, Gavin!

Hi Gavin,
I found myself going through your post saying 'yep, I do that' and 'ooh, I should do more of that'! The autoresponder thing is still a bit of a mystery to me although I'm taking a look at AWeber. Producing additional content/offers to entice people into signing up is a bit of a challenge. Perhaps you could offer suggestions for this area in your next post?
Best wishes
Joanna

Gavin,
We love the fantastic system and steps you have laid out here. Anyone who is new and is not sure where to start and where to finish can really understand the whole system from your post.
Thanks for bringing our attention to the Squidoo lense. The high ranking you can receive through a Squidoo lense with the right keywords can't be forgotten.
It is so fantastic to use this system to help people to know, like and trust you because where it can go from there is unlimited!
Thanks for all your time and value you put into this post as usual. You are a true leader!

Gavin,
Great post… and it's so cool that you not only tell people how this is all done, but that you do it yourself… you walk your talk.
What you've outlined is also a great checklist… do we do this?… do we have this set up?… do we spend enough time conversing with our list? A cool way to make sure we're not falling short in keeping our relationships and getting the most from our marketing.
And… we totally agree with you… start first, get the ball rolling, give, and you'll be surprised what you attract in your life.
Thanks,
~ Pat and Lorna

Hi Gavin, as usual – wonderful information. You have a great way with words too.My question is, with all the "exposure" you create, how do you use your time? So many places to network and participate, it can be quite time consuming. How do you organize your day to do all that you do? I really enjoy learning from you. Thank you very much!

Hi Gavin,

Hey Gavin, great post. I love how you divided the entire process into three phases. Much easier to comprehend. I found it also very refreshing to hear you say to start out by commenting on other peoples blogs. It is so true that you have to give before you can take.
I also love how you describe not to force people into participating in anything. They will come to you when the time is write. This works so much better. In network marketing and any other (online) marketing. Thanks for sharing all this super valuable information.
Karin.

Great blog, Gavin. We just have to remember that a lot of people get overloaded with too much information as well, so following up to truly build that person as an entrepreneur is required if you want them on your team as well.
Its kind of funny how network marketers will buy this and buy that, get this knowledge and jump from that to that. If they'd just stick in one damn place (hehe, excuse my french) then maybe, just maybe they'd have success.
Again, Great Post, Thanks, CBiz

Thanks!

The problems with funded proposals are:
1) They are time consuming to put together,
2) eBooks, reports, and even video boot camps are a dime a dozen and people don't even want to spend $10 if you don't have dozens of testimonials, and
3)Even if they presell your opportunity, it takes weeks and many times, months of emails before people start to trust you
