Wk1004 – What Value Can You Offer People?
Why would someone want to follow you and join your business? This is a very important question to ask yourself because someone looking to get involved with Network Marketing and MLM will be subconsciously asking these questions.
Whenever I look for a new business opportunity I look at the company, pay plan and product but I also look at who my upline will be. If I feel they can offer me something of value, have my best interests at heart and seem like a genuine hardworking individual, then I will usually join underneath them.
If I don't relate to the person offering me the opportunity or don't think they can offer me any value, then I keep looking for a sponsor who can offer something valuable to me which I may not already know.
So, for this lesson, the question you need to ask yourself is what value can I offer other people and why would someone want to join a business under me?
You'll need to drill down to the core of yourself, who you are as an individual and what you can give someone else to help them achieve their goals and dreams.
Here are some ideas for you.
- Are you a genuine person who has other people's best interests at heart?
- Do you really feel that by helping someone else, you can make a living yourself?
- What experience in MLM, Network Marketing or Home Business do you have?
- Are you good with Time Management?
- Can you prioritize well?
- Are you a good teacher who has lots of patience?
- Can you explain a concept to someone in a simple to understand way?
- Are you motivated and driven?
- Do you understand the Internet and the tools of the trade?
- Do you have a good understanding of Attraction Marketing?
These are all things which can offer value to other people. In order to be a leader and sponsor people into your business, all you need is to know more than the person you are sponsoring.
The reason people come to me and ask if they can join me and my business is because they can see that I am an honest, genuine, hard working person who offers a lot of value to them. I give a lot of free content, advice and help to as many people as I can.
I honestly don't mind if that person doesn't join my business or if they do, but for me it's helping others achieve their full potential which I enjoy the most.
So, for this lesson think about your life, what you have done, and what value you can offer someone looking to join your business. The more value you can offer someone, the more likely they are to want to join you.
Only tell the truth, do not lie. People can see through someone who tells lies and it doesn't do your credibility any good for the future.
If you are sure you can't offer any value to someone else then talk about your upline. who are they? What systems do they have in place to help new recruits? What training program will they be able to follow to create a success in their business. People want to know that when they join you and your business, they will be looked after and will be able to follow some kind of training program.
If your upline isn't very good and doesn't help you with your business, then in my opinion, you joined under the wrong person and if you're not having success, you need to really think about leaving that company and joining under a person who can help you achieve your goals and dreams in a systematic way.
Action Steps
- Think about things you have achieved in your life which you could teach others. What value can you offer someone looking to join you and your business and why should they join you? Everyone knows some infomation which another person may not know. You have to turn it into a positive and show that person you can help them achieve their goals and dreams.
- Write your blog post and be as specific as you can. Talk about yourself and what you can offer someone joining your business.
- Record a video with you talking about the value you can offer someone. If you've achieved success in some part of your life, then talk about it. Go into as much detail as you can.
- Publish Your Blog Post.
- Upload the video to Tubemogul.
