WK1003 – What Are My Goals And Dreams?
Term 1
Week 1 – Day 3 – What Are My Goals And Dreams?
Welcome to day 3. Hopefully today should really get you excited thinking about your future! I love doing this… it gives me a reason to get up in the morning and to work as hard as I do.
If you don't have any aspirations, goals, and dreams then you need to start thinking.
I wrote this post to accompany this lesson. It should help you with a few ideas…

As we get older, we start to forget about our childhood goals and dreams and just 'get on with life'. We, as people were made for so much more! I believe we were put on this planet to help others with their lives, go visit different countries and experience other cultures, enjoy life to the max and make an impact on the world. What's life for if it's not for living?
You need to reignite those childhood dreams and give yourself a reason to make a success with this. You can do it, and you can succeed. It's just a matter of believing in yourself and seeing an exciting future for yourself. The only thing thats stopping you is yourself.
To become a whole person, a truly rounded individual, you should have goals in several areas of your life.
- Physical
- Emotional
- Financial
- Spiritual
- Relationships
In todays blog post and video, you can choose from one or all of the above categories to talk about your goals in life.
For many people, material goals are their main priority and thats fantastic. Afterall, once you have enough money, in theory you don't have to worry about anything else and you're able to go and do many other things with your life.
You could go travelling, buy houses, help friends and family, relax, enjoy life and do anything that you want to do.
I personally don't think money alone can make you happy. It'll definitely help with your life and you'll find many more doors open to you once you have a large bank balance, but you also need to make sure you are emotionally stable, have a healthy diet and think good positive thoughts as often as you can.
What are your goals and dreams?
- Do you want to travel the world, relax by the pool, and visit new countries?
- Help people in poor countries? If you didn't have to work you could make donations, go out and actually help these people and make a difference in their lives.
- Buy property and become a property tycoon.
- Buy an amazing sports car, make your friends envious. You'll feel powerful and respected.
- Have a great looking body which is healthy and fit.
The list goes on… I have a whole dream book full of things I want to do. Places I want to go to, people I want to help, houses I want to buy, etc, etc…
Action steps for this lesson
- Sit down and dream big. Anything you write down on paper, you can have in your life. If it's not on the paper, you can't have it. Think of anything…. doesn't matter how stupid it sounds. Eventually, you'll want to collect photo's, magazines, brochures etc of all the things you want.
- Write your blog post and describe your ideal future. What do you want in your life, what will drive you and motivate you to work harder than ever before to achieve your dreams. Add some images to your blog post to make it more lively.
- Record a video with you talking about your goals and dreams. Be yourself… if you make a mistake, either put the video out anyway, or re-record it.
- Publish the blog post on your blog.
- Upload the video to Tubemogul.
