PT005 | Setting Up Individual Video Accounts

Next you'll need to open up video accounts with 9 different video sites. You'll only need to upload your video once to TubeMogul and press the launch button once. This will then launch your video to each of the video sites below.

Make sure you use same login details for each site if possible, ideally use your name as the sign up and display name. If you use different details for each account, it's going to get very confusing. We want to keep it as simple as possible.

Step 1. Open a Myspace account

This video shows you how to open your MySpace account. You will also be able to login to Myspace Videos and submit your videos to Tubemogul using your Myspace login details. Tubemogul will then submit your videos to Myspace videos.

Don't worry about filling out your whole MySpace profile just yet as we'll be doing that in a future lesson. Just get your account opened for now.

Step 2. Link your Google account to a Google video account

When you opened you Gmail account, you created a Google account also. Having a Google account allows you access to a whole host of Google's products and services including the ability to be able to upload videos to their video service.

Step 3. Open a Yahoo video account.

Step 4. Open a Veoh video account.

Step 5. Open a Revver video account.

Step 6. Open a Daily Motion video account.

Step 7. Open an Aol video account.

Step 8. Open a Metacafe video account.

Step 9. Open a YouTube video account.

Now you've opened new accounts for the 9 video accounts you're going to be using, you need to fill out your personal profile in each video account. Make sure you include your link to your blog also in your profile.

It's very important to upload a photo of yourself also as people will be able to identify with you and relate to you more.

I usually use the same profile details for all my video accounts. It saves time filling them out. Just copy and paste the details into each profile.

Make sure you write as much information as you can about yourself, your website links, contact details etc as people who watch your videos may want to know more about you and may want to contact you for help.
